Editors dispute the Board of Health pronouncement "that the cholera is not communicable under any circumstances whatever from man to man . . ." (199).
The Editors present evidence of "the diffusion of cholera by articles of clothing [fomites]" and recommend "the introduction of proper means for disinfection in all establishments where the disease prevails" (199).
