(13 March 1841)Reporter's version of the paper Snow read at a regular weekly meeting of the Westminster Medical Society, Saturday 13 1841, published in Lancet 1 (1841-42): 894-96.

In addition to Snow's paper, the Lancet reporter also recorded comments by Drs. Verrall, Bird, and Chowne, as well as Misters Wade and Chance.

Snow reworked his paper and submitted it to the London Medical Gazette, where it appeared in early April as Distortions of the chest and spine in children, from an enlargement of the abdomen.
