Regular meeting of the Westminster Medical Society on Saturday evening, 13 April 1844. Minutes published in the Lancet 1 (1844): 172-73.

"Mr. Snow read a paper on hydrophobia, from a gentleman in the country, in whose neighbourhood several persons had been bitten by a rapid dog, and three of them had become affected with hydrophobia, at the respective periods of four, six, and wight weeks after they were bitten. Only one of the cases was detailed; . . ."
