Meeting of the Westminster Medical Society on the evening of Saturday, 16 March 1844.
"Mr. Snow placed on the table of the society a portion of the aorta with a small aneurismal dilation just above the sigmoid valves. . . ." There is no transcription of the reporter's account of Snow's presentation; please consult the PDF of the Lancet 1 (1844): 85.
Snow's case presentation was the first item on the Society's agenda. The second was discussion of Dr. Wigan's paper from the week before, "commenced by Mr. Snow . . . ."
